you sent very generic info. since everything snaps in place on a door panel, i could easily ruin parts of the door by prying in the wrong place.

Those are the specific factory instructions for your vehicle, not generic. If you don't feel confident with that, you probably should consider having a shop do it for you.

you sent me generic information which is no way like the door panel on a 1989 new yorker landau. i don't have any visible screws to remove. everything is hidden.

It's not generic at all. They may cover a couple of different models but they are specific. The blank inserts are shown right in the picture.

the picture illustrating a new yorker is for the passenger door which is far less complicated than the drivers side.
