What do you have to do to a car after it has been immersed in water?

I was just curious to know what the typical repairs are on a car after it has been in water to get it up and running again.

   Besides the obvious of drying everything out. You will need to drain and change the oil from the rear end , the transmission and the engine. Before you try and start the engine, pull the spark plugs out and pour a small amount of transmission fluid in the cylinders and turn the engine over to lub the rings and cylinder walls.
