Pine glue on car

This might sound like a silly question... I'm having the hardest time trying to remove pine tree glue on my car. I unfortunately parked my car under pine trees and the next day i had glue all over it!!! What can I do? I tried lighter fluid, hot water and detergent and strong cleaning products, don't know what else to try! Please help! Tks, Lora.
