1994 olds cutlass supreme 3.1 liter motor

Sent to Car Experts September 08 10:35 PM

I have a 1994 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a 3.1 liter V6 motor with 88,000 miles on it. Recently changed motor mounts, fuel filter, wires and plugs. Also put Chevron injector cleaner ( bottle in tank). The reason for this was that the car was missing real bad. The motor was missing eratically at times. When we start the car, the car ran fine. As soon as it was put in reverse it started missing. We put it back in park, turn motor off. Then we turned the ignition switch off and on several times without starting the car, then start it and it would run fine. We figured out that if we started it in neutral, and put it in drive it would not miss until we steped on the brake. We could put it back in neutral, turn the ignition switch off and on several times without stating the car and then start it in neutral and put in drive and drove a little ways and stop it would start missing again. So, we replaced the "dog-bone" motot mounts and now it will not miss when we star it and put it reverse and drive in reverse, but as soon as i is droped in drive it starts missing. It appears to be missing on maybe just one cylinder. We can make it stop missing by turning the ignition swith off and on several times without starting the car, then we start the car and it will not miss until we put it in drive again. What the hell can this be? HELP!!!!!!!!
