One day while driving I noticed the car slightly shaking, kind of to the left and right. It has gotten progressively worse and the stearing wheel shakes left and right when driving now making me wonder if the tires are out of alignment which is all I could think it could be. but I have no clue???

Does this shaking occur when you are driving down the road at 55-65mph? or when your are slowing down to a stop?
