93 lincoln continental. How do you adjust rear brakes?

 the rear brakes are the only ones that adjust this is done by raising the car and suport it properly.

  You will find a slot in the near the bottom of the backing plate of each wheel using a screw driver or adjuster spoon thru the backing plate move the adjusting wheel up or down untill you you notice a slight drag when turning the tire repeat on the otherside and then road test

 Caution; Do not over tighten the brakes as this will cause them to overheat or lock up and it could be diffacult for a novice to back the brakes off again.

 it dosn't look like a screw  it is a wheel right on the inside of the slot on the backing plate you turn it up or down till the brakes start to drag slightly. on a Ford preoduct I think up is the direction you want to move the star wheel.
