Sent to Car Experts September 01, 2006 12:52 p.m.

'91 Corsica, 3.1 litre. was running fine when purchased, however, after taking it through an undercarriage car wash it starting dying out and kept killing all the way home. The following day I purchased a new battery, had the alternator checked after battery installation, and Autozone machine showed a bad alternator, which I replaced with a new one from factory. Next day it starting stalling and dying after the engine got hot. Decided to take it for diagnotics down the street two blocks away and it died in the middle of traffic. The shop diagnostics was fuel pump (new) and it still does not start. The shop checked the fuel injectors and stated they need replacement. Now I owe for a new fuel pump and the Corsica still does run. It has other new parts on it.
