1993 Camry locks won't open
Sent to Car Experts November 11 11:35 AM

1993 Camry first the key could not open the trunk, months later the key could not open the passenger side door. today, the key won’t open any doors. I had to call a locksmith to open the car for me. What could this be? Could it be a quick fix? A new Key?

It sounds to me like the key is just flat worn out. The locksmith should have looked at what you had and advised you on what to do or cut a new key.

Response to bestservices's Post: Can I keep this question open to see if a new key will work? Locksmith said a new key system is necessary. The key does look worn to me though.
