How do I remove the thermostat from my 98 malibu? It's V6, and overheated on me on my way to work today, I need to get it home so I can have someone fix it, but I don't want to drive it home if it's going to overheat again, don't want to damage the motor. It had fluid, would not blow heat when I turned the heater on to get the temp. lower. I don't know much about cars, please help me get home? Mary Glover
