I have a 98 Ford Escort LX Sedan with an A/C problem. It worked fine two days ago but now the compressor kicks off and on every 15-20 seconds. One line coming of the dryer is very cold but the air going into the car is hot. I can short the connector on top of the dryer and the compressor will run continuously but still hot air coming out of the vents and the line is still very cold. The dryer and condensor are jsut over a year old but the compressor is a remanufactured one thats about four years old.
