Hello,
You may have a bad starter. You could have a bad ignition switch. The best thing to do is to try tapping on the starter with a hammer while someone is turning the key trying to start it. If it tries to start or makes any noise it will be your starter. If this doesn't work and you have a test light check your starter. You should have constant power on the large post on the starter. The small post on the starter will only have power when the key is turned to start position. This is your signal from the ignition switch. If you don't get power to the small post when trying to start the car then check your starter relay and your fuses.
