I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt with 120000 miles or so. I just had the transmission rebuilt back in february. Now when I drive it it will not shift it is stuck in third. I took it back to the place that put in the trans and they said it was a fuse. A fuse that was under my hood in that fuse box that blew. So they replaced it and the car drove fine for a few weeks and the same thing happened again(blew a fuse). I took it back again and now they are saying that it is an electrical problem. The fuse that blew controls my cigarette lighter and supposedly my solenoids in the trans. But the thing is when that fuse blows my cigarette lighter still works and the fuse inside the car is not blown. Why would'nt this happen with my old trans? What could be the problem?
