1990 Honda Accord LX driver front window

I have a Honda Accord LX 1990. The driver front window has not been going up and down properly. I have used some spray silicone down the sides to no avail. It now is stuck three inches from the top and won't budge. My husband wants to take the door apart, but we don't have any details on how to do this.
