97 Seville misfire
Sent to Car Experts August 09 12:08 AM

Hi there. I have a 97 Seville with 114,000 miles on it. It has recently been saying "service engine soon". When I check the code it says there is a cylinder #8 misfire. It also started to run rough. Since it has never had a tuneup, I replaced the plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter. This made no difference. I reset the code and it came back on within minutes and the car continues to run rough. Could it be a bad coil pack?
Also, the car has been telling me for months now that there is a brake vaccuum problem. Any ideas on that? The brakes seem to work just fine. Any helpful ideas on these problems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Nick
