1999 Cadillac Deville shop says needs a new fuel pump installed will cost 1,255.00 that includes the 150.00 to fully inspect the car and dianostics, which they said the car was sound and nothing found except needs new wiper blades. So why is putting in a new fuel pump so expensive on that car? It left me at the safeway it had plenty of cranking power just wouldn't start had 3 gallons of gas when the tow truck came the tech tried to start her up and the display said 0 gallons of gas so we put in more gas the display said 5 gallons still wouldn't start does this sound like the fuel pump?
