Question

my car ran out of gas so I put some in then my battery died ...

my car ran out of gas so I put some in then my battery died so I had another in my trunk and replaced it with the first battery the ignition would at least turn over but it would click with the other battery I get notheing at all nothing could ithe problem be that the battery I replaced the old one with be completly dead and need to be charged or do I have an even bigger problem like my starte or my ignition
