I own a 1989 BMW 325i. I took off for work one morning and the car was running fine. I stopped and it begin to hesitate and spurter. I leveled back out but after about 4 or 5 miles it started again. I pulled over and the calylitc converter was red. I had it towed, when I took the car off the record it started up like nothing was wrong but, now it idles very irractically and acts if it has no power. Hesitates and spurters badly.
