My son hit a bump and all the lites on his dash blinked and the car died -1996 Honda Prelude 2.2 liter engine. - He changed the alternator -didn't fix it - He replaced the battery - still runs for about 1-2 miles and dies (drains battery) - What is going on? He feels it is just a wire that probably came loose - the mechanic say all is running fine but the alternator is not charging battery. Please advise (if you have a wire diagram - that would help)

Already Tried:
replaced the alternator & battery.. I put battery on backwards first, and the 100 amp relay fuse poped. I put Battery in correct replaced the fuse and it still dies.
