Sent to Car Experts July 29 09:56 PM

I have a 1996 honda civic ex. i've been expericening over heating problems for a few months. i changed the thermstat and the problem continues. the radiator fan comes on for about 10 to 15 seconds and shuts off.there are no leaks. i dont know what the problem could be.
Also i just had my transmission fixed. it had a whinding noise when ever i down-shifted. so i had the bearings replaced. now the problem is that when i try to put the car in reverse an 5th gear its almost impossibe, unless i really force it. but the other gears are fine. also the stick shift doesn't "fall" into neutrel. before it was worked on there waws no problem other then the whinding noise in the transmission. sorry for the lenghtly problems, please help
