I have a 1996 Ford Taurus. It has been stalling quite often at stop lights - which I have attributed to the fact that I am WAY overdue for a tune-up and need a new fuel filter.
Sound correct? It always starts right up after a stall (so far).

Most importantly -when I turn my car off - my air conditioning/fan inside my car stays on. What is that all about? Is this dangerous in anyway? Such as a fire hazard etc?

Optional Information:
1996 Ford Taurus V6

Already Tried:
stop leak for the small oil leak - no change. More concerned about the interior fan remaining on.
