Electrical Problem
Sent to Car Experts July 26 09:59 AM

I still have a problem that the Ford dealer, who I bought the car from, can't fix. I bought a 2002 Honda Accord Coupe with the 4 cylinder engine. The car has an after market radio. When I bought the car there was a bunch of loose wires in the trunk that probably were connected to bass speakers. The previous owner took them with him. When I drive around occationally when I turn on the lights and high beams the SRS light comes on, the green key light comes on and the radio shuts off and comes back on. I then don't have use of my power door locks or alarm system. I have to manually open the car door by hand. After about an hour, the alarm is working again and the clock, which is shut off, starts working from the time I start the car again. This does not happen all of the time and when I had the sales person in the car, I could not duplicate the problem but it has happened twice already. Obviously they think I am crazy. They suspect the after market radio installationj but why can't they find the proble? Is this a dangerous situation? Because the SRS light come on I am worried about my air bags being deplaoyed or not working when I need them. Also my check engine light flicked on and off for about a second and did not come on again. Hepl!!! Does anyone know where I should go to find the problem? I know electrical problems are the worst and this problem doesn't happen all of the time.

Optional Information:
2002 Honda Accord 4 cylinder

Already Tried:
Dealer supposedly taped up some loose wires on the radio. That made the situation a little better but the problem still exists.
