Idle problem when a/c turned on

95 mazda 626 manual trans

When I turn the a/c on the cars idle drops, I understand this is normal in most cases. But when the idle drops to stalling or nearly stalling, something isn't right. The car will shake and idle at very low rpms. Thank you for your time
