I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid. My check engine light is one with code P0340 which means "No camshaft signal being received by the computer". Is this ok to drive the car and should this be covered under my extended Chrysler warranty? Thank you.

Reply to GENE's Post: Is it safe to drive to work and make an appointment to take it to the dealer or is it a take to the dealer now type of thing? I am thinking is it a real problem or a bad sensor?

90% chance that its a sensor,as long as its running ok you should be ok to drive it a while,i hope this helps
