the car radio will operate sometimes, but always when the headlights are on. now my charging system warning light will come on, stay on for a little while, and then go off. It also seems that if i touch certain parts of the dash or turn signals, the radio will come back to life. even jiggling the key in the ignition will get some noise. the ashtray light is also tempermental. is it a short somewhere in the steering column? i had problems with the entire dash indicators going out last summer, and had it fixed (?) by firestone. any suggestions?
