Question

rear brakes

Sent to Car Experts July 20, 2006 1:39 p.m.

Hi, yesterday I asked you how to adjust the rear brakes on a 97 ford mustang cobra, the info you gave was correct but I am having a very hard time getting the pads to fit, I adjusted the piston all the way back “ as you said” but I am still having difficulty getting the system together.. It looks like the pads are to thick or the rotor is to thick “it does have vented rear rotors.. Please help wife’s car :-(

Alright, so you cannot get the caliper over the pads? Do the calipers even fit slightly over the pads and then stop?
