REPLIED Check Mark

Sounds to me like a transmission problem. When your check engine light comes on, what codes do you get? How many miles on the vehicle? You should start off by checking your transmission fluid level and condition. If it's low, top it off according to the dipstick markings and if it's dirty, try changing your trans fluid and filter if applicable. Trans fluid should be somewhat reddish in color. Be sure to use the correct trans fluid type and grade recommended by the manufacturer as this can and will affect the transmission. Hope this helps and get back to me with any questions. Good luck.
