I'm own a 1992 Honda Acdord --the Timing belt has gone out and the engine doesn't start; the car repair shop quoted the job as ; replacement of the timing belt//seals//belt etc..for @ $600. --Then they called back & said the engine needed to be repaired extra work//repairs//replacement of valves/gaskets/ etc for an addl $1400...does this sound like an accurate and true assessment of the type of Honda engine trouble; mostly known and/or is the car shop adding more than expected to fix the car?
