I have a 2001 Potiac Montana, 111,000 miles. The car will not shift from first gear until the car is warmed up. We took the car to the transmission shop to the tune of 2,200.00.   I am wondering, Is It Worth It?    Sometimes, I have to pull off to the side of the road until it shofts, then get back into traffic.
