Sent to Car Experts July 12 12:51 AM

My brakes make a noise but not until after I had used them a few times. Almost sounds like grinding, but my pads, calipers and rotors check out OK. The noise is coming from just behind the firewall were the brake petal and is, and only when I apply the brakes.

Had brakes looked at by Bell Tire. Said pads and rotors are ok.

Reply to BOBBY's Post: The noise only occurs when the brake petal itself is being pressed down. Soon as I stop moving the brake petal the noise stops.

Reply to BOBBY's Post: I know it can't be in the wheels because the noise occurs when the car is stopped also. After driving for a while the noise starts up. I can put it in park and press on the brake petal and the noise happens.
