I have a '93 Accord, recently replaced 02 sensor, as check engine light was on and diagnosed by mechanic as the problem. That did not fix the problem with performance
-- the pinging, rough and unsteadly engine performance that gets worse when car gets warmed up. Wouldn't start one day, but did later. Stalled out once while driving along. What fuction does the ERG valve have? Will look forward to your reply. Thanks. Cynthia M

PS, do you think I was duped into getting the 02 sensor replaced at $249?
