So every time you run the car does the temperature gauge go to hot and cause the coolant to overflow?

Does it matter whether you are driving on the freeway or around town as to when it will overheat?

Reply to BOBBY's Post: the car could be on and on park and it will overheat. the antifreeze does not have water either.

It sound to me like you have a bad thermostat. It does not appear to be opening and allowing the coolant to flow.

Yes it is fairly easy. Look at your upper and lower radiator hose. One or the other, I believe it is the lower hose, should connect to the engine at an aluminum housing with a slight dome shape to it. Once you find this let me know.
