Volvo vixen needs some fixin'
Sent to Car Experts July 06 06:12 PM

Was driving my 2004 Volvo S40 & the car's A/C, radio & lights surged on and then car died. Towed the car to the dealer. I am being told the AC belt came apart & effected the timing belt causing it to "Jump timing". Car was given oil change and inspection of all hoses, belts, etc this past November. It is under 50K miles and still under warranty. Volvo dealer is telling me this is not covered under warranty. Estimated cost is $2500-3000. I am feeling like I'm being taken for a "ride" as being the young, blondie without any car smarts. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. JD.
