i have a 1995 acura integra GS coupe, its a manual transmission, the timing belt gave on it while starting at a red light, then i continued to try and start my car naturally to see if it would it wouldnt not. the timing belt had failed. i bought my car from a used car dealer and they had told me that im lucky that i bent no valves. i dont trust them seeing as how they are a used car dealer and i had recently purchased the car and i would like to know some tell tale signs of bent vales. they replaced my belt, tensioners, and water pump, and said there was no damage is it common to bend valves in my car? and how long will my engine last with a new timing belt with a bent valve or two?
