Car will not start sometimes. Problem is getting worse.

Toyota Previa, 1993. When I go to start the car, sometimes it will not start. Nothing happens; the engine does not even turn. First this was occurring infrequently, but now it happens on a daily basis. I could go all day driving around, turning the car of and on; everything is normal, and then all of a sudden, when I attempt to start the engine, nothing happens. The lights in the dashboard come on but the engine does not turn. Yesterday, my son had the car all day with no problem--as far as I know. Today, this morning when I attempted to start the engine, nothing happened. After about 5 minutes, I was able to start the engine. I hooked a charger to the battery, but it indicated that the battery was fully charged. I'm at a loss. Please advise as to what component/components may be responsible for this problem. Thanks!
