I have a 1988 Olsmobile Cutlass Ciera that won't remain on. I turn it on and it shuts off. I diagnose it myself, but it only shows me the code 12. But if I disconnect a sensor it will show a code for that sensor. So I simply disconnect the negative part of the battery so it will erase it. Anyways please help me. It has a new fuel pump, fuel filter I though it would be the MAF sensor but my car don't requires that part, AutoZone tells me. So then I thought it might be the MAP sensor. But the diagnose don't indicate any sensor wrong. Therefore it might be something else. Thank you.
