I have a Citreon Xsara 1.4i (1998). I have only had her three months and she's been recently fully serviced and MOT'd in April. The problem is occuring more frequently, and more worrying at speed. First the enguine would just cut out and the I would have no power and no steering while in 2nd gear. But yesterday I was doing 50mph and the enguine just cut out. By chance I was the only one on the road and managed to pull into the hard shoulder until the car stopped. This is the first time the enguine has cut out at speed. She also cuts out when ticking over. Oil and water are Ok and she is not overheating. Any help would be appreciated
