Question

Engine fuel line

Sent to Car Experts June 24, 2006 10:02 a.m.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic DX with a 115hp 1.7 liter SOHC 16 valve 4 cyl engine. I have a fuel-saving gadget that has to be installed at the end of the fuel line in the engine compartment. Other than changing the oil I can't tell the difference between all those hoses under the hood.

Please help. A picture showing where it ends would also be great, since I'm pretty much lost away from the oil!

The fuel filter is on the firewall. It is a round cylinder about 4 to 5" tall and 2" in diameter. The fuel line comes out of the top of filter and goes to the fuel injection rail. I don't have a diagram of the fuel line and the injection rail. If you need a diagram you might be able to find one at www.eautorepair.net. For 7.99 you can rent a manual for your car for one week. It is a michell manual web site. The manuals are the same that the pros use. If you need more help I'll be here.
