ford crown victoria 5.0 engine,no gas getting to the engine.pulled the fuel filter no gas pumping,but I can hear the fuel pump in the tank pumping and working.

Make sure you have fuel in the tank. If so and you can hear the pump running, you will have to drop the tank and remove the pump assembly.

Response to bestservices's Post: why should i pull the fuel pump,as it is working,i have heard of air getting in the gas line or the fuel pump is clogged. this car has been setting for 6 months

the fuel pump has a pickup screen on it which may be clogged and/or one of the hoses came loose on the pump. i would pull the pump and check everything on it to make sure it is working properly. just because the pump engadges doesnt mean it is allowing the flow of fuel.
