I currently drive a 1993 opel rekord 200IE. I am currently having an intemitent problem. I will be driving and suddenly the car will have no power. When I accelerate its like the car is missing and I cannot pick up any speed. I have Check the spark plugs and replaced them but still the problem continues. The car will then stand for a half an hour and start up and drive normally. Every time I get to a mechanic the problem is gone. I have gotten some advise from a mechanic , that he thinks its the cambelt. Could you please assist?
