WHEN I GO TO STOP SUDDENLY ON THE HIGHWAY MY CAR SEEMS TO VIBRATE. THIS IS AT 40 MPH. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME IT DOES THIS. IS MY CAR OUT OF ALIGNMENT ? HELP

sounds like you have warped brake rotors. When stopping and more so on hard stops the heat build up can warp the brake rotors causeing a vibration/ pedal pulsation. According to mileage you may need a brake job or you might get away with just a rotor machining. Be aware that there is a min thickness on brake rotors and the thinner they get the quicker they will warp.
