how do i fix my floor jack? it will not jack up any more.

my jack jacks but will not stay in the up postion and will not go up all the way.

Hi im not really sure what the problem is with this jack but this is what i would do is to go to local salvage yard and find one real cheap it would be easier to buy one than to fix that one it dosent sound like you need to trust that one if you need more help let me know. Thanks,

no the jack is my shop floor jack. it will not stay up and will not hold the car up.
