My car likes to shake in the front of the car when it hits about 50 mph and it also pulls alittle to the right.....I dont know if this is related but it also sounds like something is loose under the front end, its like a rattled sound when I drive. Any idea what this might be? Thanks

Take a good look at front tires, are they wearing unevenly if so how. How many miles on the car and tires. If the shake is limited to a certain speed range (like 50-58 mph) would suspect tire balance. As far as noise goes there are several things to check struts assemblies,Check for leaks, broken springs, worn mounts. Sway bar and links for wear in bushings and worn or broken links, Ball joints for play, and tie rods for play, also wheel bearing/hub for play, if all is okay inspect axles for torn or ripped boots does it click at all when making sharp turns.I hope this helps if you need more info let me know. Reply to Bill's Post: So I should go see a mechanic then...Because I did replace the front left tire and not the front right about a couple months ago.

I would ,at least to have it checked out a good mechanic can do this in very little time and most of the time at little or no cost always ask first though,I say this because of the noise it sounds if something either broken a badly worn. and needs to be taken care of certain parts like ball joints and tie rod ends if fail can have serious consequences (mainly loss of steering) other things not so drastic but should be repaired to reduce wear on tires and other components. Also remember that when most front end componants are replaced an alignment will be nescessary afterwords.shop around would try to stay away from larger retailers they have a tendancy to try replace everything .If your not comfortable with the diagnoses get another opinion! Thank you Bill
