The check engine light keeps coming on and when it comes on it is a steady light. I have noticed that there is a problem accelerating during this time as well. It has gone to the mechanic several times since September 2005 and as of May 2006 they have not fixed the problem. They have replaced parts and had the car hooked up to a computer and still cannot solve the problem

Already Tried:
They have had it hooked up to the computer and rest the codes. They have gone in an adjusted cables in the transmission, they have adjusted the brakes and this last time the brake lights would stay on all of the time as well.
