Hello, last night on my way from work it rain really

Hello,

last night on my way from work it rain really hard i evn went thru some deep water. however, i made it home ok the car was running fine. this morning my car would not turn on , the lights and horn were working so i assume the battery is fine. do you think it can possibly be the starter or alternator. pleae advise me. 2001 chrysler sebring lxi 2.7 4 door.

nothing i had to go to work, all i know is that my horn and lights turn on but when i attempt to turn the switch nothing happens

if the alternator was bad, the car would have (most likely) died on you. i would suspect the starter solenoid, or broken wire.
