i purchased a 03 eclipse in oct. 05, Went to start it one morning and it back fired and the check engine light came on. Then it would hesitate upon exceleration. Took it to a local guy who said the throttle body wasn't function properly. Then took it to a dealer and they ran code, etc. They said the #2 spark plug was cracked, so they replaced all spark plugs and wires, etc. Then 5 days later went to start again ( i thing if you don't turn the key in the ignition completely it causes it to misfire for some reason) and the car back fired and check engine light came back on and hesitation upon exceleration began again. What could be the problem. Do you thing I will need to get the spark plugs checked again and will disconnecting the battery reset. What is the procedure for this. thanks, please help.
