My 94 Tercel filed emission test due to almost twice CO (20.63 instead of 12.00), and almost into standard on HC (1.06 instead of 0.80).
Next day, it turned on the "Check" light while driving at about 45 mph for some 10 minutes.
Back home, I read the blinking codes from my car and it stated the next:
Code 14: Ignition reference no signal.
Code 25: Mixture control continuously lean.
I am confused about code 25, lean mixture, because at the emission facility, one technician told me that my Tercel failed due to a rich mixture.
Help, please.
My focus: Pass Emission Test!
