I have a 1991 Chev Lumina with a 2.5 liter. It has a cracked exhaust manifold at a point near the block. Would this cause the car to lose power and die?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

No this will cause an exhaust leak only. They are bad about cracking. If you are losing power and stalling the first thing you should do is check or have checked the fuel pressure. It is more likely that the fuel pump is going out. The exhaust could cause a power loss if it was clogged up.
