My brake lights stay on even when car is turned off.

My brake lights stay on even when car is turned off. This is a new (today) problem and I just removed the fuse to prevent my battery from draining. I have very little money. Is there anything that I can do on my own to fix this? I have tried pumping the brakes but they stay on.
