i was hooking up a remote start cut the tape of the harness tapped into the proper ignition wires plugged in the remote start (bulldog) to make sure it would turn the car over (wont start because i hadnd hooked the transponder bypass module in yet)the unit initalized ok and when it went to crank the engine nothing, i than checked all the fuses and traced the ignition and starter wires inside the car for proper voltage everything was ok i than started looking at the pcm and the transmission control i had the proper signals coming from the park nutreal switch so i wnnt to the pcm and i wasnt getting any output signals from the pcm for the starter relay and fuel pump relay, i than found another pcm at a salvage yard here (both federal emmissions)tried that and the fuel pump actulated ok with this one but the starter relay still didnt, when i put a test light on the pcm output wire for the starter relay the vehicle will turn over by the key but it wont start all the signals for the fuel injectors and ignition coils seem ok, car has good spark , but when i pulled a plug out it was dry, fuel isn getting into the cylinders if you need any more info please let me know thanks jeff

accordind to what i have the park neutral switch should provide the ground circuit for the pcm (which it does) that circuit it connected to the starter relay control (via pcm)but it isnt getting to the relay control (no ground their) i think i might have another faulty pcm or it needs some programming? thanks jeff

It's hondatech_v1.0@netzero, send whatever you have and maybe the instructions from the remote starter. I'll check it out and have a better answer for you hopefully. If you're not getting output from the pcm, it probably is not seeing an input it needs to give you an output. I doubt you have TWO bad pcm's. Computers are stupid, you just need to firgure out what it needs to get what you want. I was leaning more towards the transponder giving you a hard time but we'll see. Did you T-tap the connections or cut and butt connect them? Don't worry we'll figure it out. Electricial is my strong point. I rebuild pinball/arcade machines for a hobby so I'm buried in wiring almost every day in one form or another.
