My car is having problems. When I'm stopped at a light and then I press on the gas to go it hesitates. I have to let it roll for a split second then it goes fine. Then sometimes when I'm accelerating it stutters I guess you could say. It will act as if if wants to go but has difficulty actually getting up and going. PLEASE TELL ME IT ISN'T THE TRANSMISSION.

Optional Information:

It is a 95 Mercedes C280. The manual says it's a 4-stroke gasoline engine with six cylinders. I've had it about two years. My parents passed it on to me because it got better mileage than my Jeep and that's important because I drive a lot. I'm a social worker and I drive about every other day at least. I'm just freaking out right now because I live paycheck to paycheck and I'm scared it's the transmission. Sorry to vent. ha ha
